Street Changelog
Monthly release notes per street: only citizen-verified fixes, reverts and missed dates printed.
The job
Tells each neighbourhood, on a printed poster, on WhatsApp and on a portal page, what residents reported and which fixes they confirmed. It also admits which problems came back and which promised dates slipped, and measures each edition's reach.
The moment
A poster on a community noticeboard works like monthly release notes for the street. It reads: "You reported 214 problems last month. 201 fixed. 188 confirmed by you."
Beside it, a neighbour writes that the streetlight at their door works for the first time in two years.
Below, in red, the municipality admits the culvert drain problem came back on Tuesday, and that the park fence repair has slipped to next month.
On social media, residents reply that it's the first time they have trusted these updates. The next month, 61 reports start from the poster's QR code, and the quietest district doubles its reporting.
What it does
- Approve the district edition
- Create and send the poster
- Send the WhatsApp edition
- Publish the portal page
- Print a correction
- Reopen from a 'still broken' reply
What you see
Release-notes edition per place with a REVERTED line and corrections box, delivered as an A3 noticeboard poster with a masthead and QR, a WhatsApp edition and a customer help portal page
What it moves
How many reports start from each district's poster code, how often promised work in progress is finished on time, how often each contractor's fixes come undone, and how much trust subscribers express compared with non-subscribers.
