When we started Anecdote a couple of years ago, our goal was simple - help companies understand their customers.
That goal has grown. Today it’s bigger and backed by the resources we need to bring it to life. We’ve raised $12m in funding from Prosus, STV AI Fund (backed by Google), Sukna Ventures, Wamda Capital, Neo, Oraseya Capital, Phaze Ventures, Race Capital, Propeller, Tech Invest Com, and angels from OpenAI and Google.
With this step forward, we’re also changing our name. Anecdote is now Clarity.
The name Anecdote came from the idea that a single story could explain a customer’s needs. But as we worked with more teams, we saw stories weren’t enough. Companies needed more than visibility—they needed a way to act.

In the coming months, we’re growing our GTM and applied AI teams in New York, Riyadh, and London. This will help us move faster across time zones, develop the product more quickly, and better support companies in complex or regulated environments with security always central to the way we work.
