Find the fault running up a riser, feeder or route before neighbours call.
The job
Finds failures that share one hidden physical link, such as a pipe riser, feeder line, fibre cabinet, bus route or baggage belt. Helps you fix that link once and warn the places further along it before they complain.
The moment
In the quality review, the director opens Tower 3, drawn as a cross-section of the building. Faults that share one pipe stack are highlighted together, and the view can also be played as sound.
The view shows pipe stack B failing between floors 7 and 14. The app names the 11 units higher up the stack that have not complained yet, and they are warned.
Six weeks later, the replay shows the stack clear. None of the 11 warned units has reported damp, and one inspection replaced fifteen separate visits.
One resident's reply is on screen: "the first time a company told me about a problem before I found it".
