Tender Card Duel
Contractor cards whose stats were written by buyers, flipped in the tender committee.
The job
When construction or maintenance work goes to tender, puts buyers' real experience beside price and schedule. Lets contractors answer their weakest stat with a pledge before they bid, and checks a year later whether that clause was met.
The moment
In the tender committee, each contractor bidding for the work has a card, like a trading card, with stats drawn from what buyers said. The committee flips the lowest bidder's card.
It shows a buyer's words, "they came three times and the bathroom still floods" (Tower 4, 2025), and a 38% repeat-visit rate against a 12% median. No pledge to fix it is attached.
The second bidder pledged a dedicated waterproofing supervisor. The committee awards the work to the second bidder, with that pledge written in as a clause.
A year later, that contractor's card levels up on screen: the clause was met, with repeat visits at 9%.
What it does
- Send each bidder its own card and a pledge invitation
- Record committee readings
- Attach a customer-voice clause to the award
- Send the card pack to procurement
- Stamp Clause met / Not met
What you see
Trading-card duel with rarity, flavour quotes, face-down deal and level-up, with a sober Scorecard mode for formal committees
What it moves
Repeat-visit rates and defects per 100 units on newly awarded work compared with the median across approved contractors, and the share of awards with a customer-voice clause that has been checked.
