Room Card Deck
Every room is a trading card guests write; engineers level it up.
The job
Learns each room's and each building system's real character from what guests say, so systemic faults are fixed first, capital spending follows evidence, and guests get rooms that suit them.
The moment
Every hotel room is shown as a trading card, with strengths and weaknesses taken from what guests say about it. Rooms stacked above each other share a group card for the systems they have in common.
The chief engineer opens the east wing. The group card for the rooms numbered 07 is almost out of health on cooling across six floors: one fault in the shared vertical pipework, not six separate complaints.
One work order goes out with a single cost estimate.
A month later the health bar refills, all six room cards improve together, and the guest comment on the card now reads "finally cold".
