Pirate's Price List
What fans pay pirates, and why, turned into a legal offer that converts.
The job
Treats piracy as free market research. Turns mentions of pirate streams, boxes, links and VPNs into a black-market price list per league and title, estimates the revenue being missed, launches a legal offer priced from it, and proves pirates switch.
The moment
The app reads what fans say about pirate streams, boxes and links as a black-market price list for each league.
Its pricing curve predicts that a single-league pass at $29 would win over 30 to 45% of that league's pirates. The committee locks in that forecast on screen.
A quarter later, the results card opens: 1,100 fans have said "I cancelled my IPTV", and pirate mentions for the league are down 35%.
The forecast is graded a hit, inside the predicted range.
What it does
- Save a menu line
- Seal a pass forecast
- Send reviewed enforcement leads to the brand-protection partner
- Publish a care script for buffering-to-piracy contacts
- Grade the sealed forecast
What you see
Black-market menu board with a 'went legal' counter per line, a willingness-to-pay curve with a sealed forecast, and a quarter-end grade card
What it moves
The estimated range of dollars missed per league, how many pirates switch to legal viewing, measured as "went legal" mentions against pirate mentions, and how often the pricing committee's forecasts hit.
