Drop Night
Every scheduled release minute graded like a sneaker drop, then fixed before the next.
The job
Treat every scheduled high-demand minute (episode drop, ticket release, flash sale, pre-order, registration opening, allocation result) as a launch with a gate, a grade and a fix list that must be verified before the next one.
The moment
At T-60 before the derby release, the card fast-forwards the last derby's first minutes: payment page timed out (1,800 voices), sold out in 40 seconds (900), bot said refresh (400). Two are stamped FIXED and struck through; the payment fix is still unverified and the gate stays red until its owner signs. The morning after, the drop grades B+ with timeout voices down 80% vs the last derby, and the grade history goes to the board.
What it does
- Register a drop and its plan
- Sign off an open fix at the gate
- Fire the bot line or holding message
- Send a fix card to Jira
- Apologise to affected customers
What you see
Sneaker-drop countdown with a rehearsal gate, a graded drop card per release and a season-long drop league
What it moves
Customer voices per failure moment per drop (per 1,000 expected buyers), drop grade trend across a season, and share of fix cards verified before the next drop
