The moment
The app writes the most damaging news story that the bank's customer feedback could support, laid out as a newspaper front page. The headline reads "The bank that charges you to complain".
Three lines are struck through, where a fact-checker threw out the reporter's exaggerations.
The CEO reads it and asks for the problem behind paragraph four to be fixed first.
Later, six months of front pages sit side by side. The board watches the story shrink from seven allegations that could be printed to three.
