Dish Passport
Every dish gets a passport: how far it goes before it spoils.
The job
Finds the delivery time at which each dish or chilled item stops arriving as promised, fixes it with packaging, delivery radius or dispatch rules, checks the tipping point has moved later, and counts the compensation avoided.
The moment
Each dish has a passport showing how long it can travel before it stops arriving as promised. The operations team shows that fries go bad at minute 14 in the standard box, but at minute 23 in a vented one.
After the switch to the vented box, the passport gets a fresh stamp.
The delivery ring for fries on the city map grows to cover four more districts.
Complaints about soggy fries from far districts halve, and the page shows $38,000 a month in compensation avoided.
