Crew What-If
Move crews on a map, replay last season, then commit a scored plan.
The job
Tests changes to crew and contractor capacity against real past work before committing to them. Signs off a plan and its forecast before the season, then scores that forecast in public afterwards.
The moment
Before the season, last year's first rain is replayed twice, side by side: once as it really happened and once under a new crew plan.
Under the new plan the eastern districts stay grey, while in the real history they turn red with overdue work.
In the replay, overdue work orders drop from 140 to 35, and the plan is committed.
Two weeks later the real week lands inside the forecast range, and the header shows the model has now been right for 7 of 9 plans.
What it does
- Commit a crew plan
- Score a forecast
- Adjust a season multiplier
What you see

What it moves
Overdue work orders at the season's peak compared with the same season last year, and how often committed plans land inside their forecast.
