Commentary Box
Hear which commentary fans want, and certify the broadcast was fair to both clubs.
The job
Hears what fans want from commentary, such as voice, language, crowd-only sound or fairness, sets the commentators and audio tracks for each match, and gives the league a fairness certificate for each match, backed by fans' own words.
The moment
Fan requests about commentary are shown on an audio mixing desk. The producer drags the crowd-sound slider up and the room hears the roar swell: 4,000 fans asked for stadium sound for the derby.
After the match, claims of bias against each club are almost level: 1,020 against 980 per 100,000 fans.
The fairness certificate goes to the league.
Complaints from fans who say they muted the TV are down 70% on the last derby.
