Predict the delayed waves that follow a peak event, price each one, pre-arm people, bots and partners before it lands, and grade the forecast afterwards.
The moment
The clock forecast the +9-day where is my refund aftershock at magnitude 6.1, priced at $2.3m. Proactive refund-status messages went out on day 7 and the bot's answer was already live; the wave registered 3.8, and the needle printed $1.8m avoided vs last Black Friday. At +45 days finance saw 2,400 fewer chargebacks, and the retro card graded the forecast A-: peak day right, amplitude 12% high.
