The Quest Log
Every public promise becomes a quest that only the community can turn in.
The job
Tracks every promise made to the player community, in question-and-answer sessions, developer blogs or patch previews, as a quest. It credits the players whose reports led to each fix and marks it complete only when the community confirms it landed.
The moment
Every public promise made to a game's players is logged like a quest in a role-playing game. The 12 promises from a recent question-and-answer session hang in the log.
Patch 2.4 ships the matchmaking fix. Over two days a health bar drains as players post "finally fixed".
Only then is the quest marked complete by the community. The three players who found the bug are thanked by name in the patch notes.
Posts saying "they never listen" fall 60% in community chat.
