Taste of Home
Every community's 'please stock this', in their language, answered on the shelf.
The job
Turns requests to stock products, from a retailer's many communities in many languages, into listing decisions for each branch with a revenue case. Tells the people who asked in their own language, and proves the community's mood changed.
The moment
Requests from the retailer's many communities to stock particular products are shown as market stalls. 212 requests in five languages ask for the same red parboiled rice across three branches.
40% of them say they drive to a rival to buy it, worth an estimated $38,000 a month.
The rice is listed, and everyone who asked gets a WhatsApp message in their own language.
A month later, at the range review, the requests have turned into thank-yous in three languages. Across 41 replies, the share shopping elsewhere is down from 40% to 9%.
What it does
- Mark an item listed in chosen branches
- Tell askers in their own language
- Page branches for shelf and signage
- Draft a public reply for askers on the store's online listing
What you see
A catchment market of community stalls, an asks ledger and a Homecoming montage for the range review
What it moves
Estimated monthly revenue won back from newly listed community products, and the share of people asking for products who say they shop elsewhere, by branch.
