On holiday eve, the left half of the screen replays last year: at 23:10 a wave of reviews saying "no cash" swept through 40 cash machines.
The right half plays this year at the same calendar time. 31 of those machines were refilled at 21:00 and stay dark.
The nine that were not refilled light up with complaints right on schedule.
The review afterwards records complaints about empty machines down 58%.
