Envelope Night
Customers nominate, the awards night reveals the winners, and the behaviour spreads.
The job
Turns named customer praise into a recognition ritual: monthly nominations written by customers, an awards night with sealed-envelope reveals, and a thank-you sent back to the customer. Shows whether winning behaviours spread and nominated staff stay.
The moment
Each month, customers nominate staff by writing praise, and the winners are revealed from sealed envelopes on a big screen at an awards night.
An envelope opens: the customers' award for staying calm goes to the night porter on Ward 4B.
A patient's thank-you appears in their own language, translated on screen. The porter has never been named in a company meeting before.
Later that evening, the patient's reply to the thank-you sent back arrives on the same screen.
