Every missed legal deadline is redrawn as a six-panel comic of where the days went. Each month's comics are bound into one issue.
The root-cause committee flips through issue 7 and sees the same panel eight times: days 2 to 5 lost waiting for the cards team to reply.
That hold-up, drawn as a villain called "The Silent Inbox", has now appeared in three issues. The head of cards signs the last panel on the spot, committing to the fix.
Issue 8's back page shows the villain in just one comic, marked as possibly defeated until the fix is verified.
